Iberis sempervirens ‘Snowcone’ – Hardy Candytuft

Iberis sempervirens, also known as Candytuft, is spreading evergreen herbaceous perennial, best grown for ground cover. The glossy, evergreen foliage forms a compact mound. This selection offers loads of good-sized white flowers for several weeks, on a plant of medium size.  It is a popular rock-garden plant, but more popular for edging in semi-formal plantings, where its neat habit produces a continuous miniature hedge to enclose blooming annuals. Also a good potted plant for prim color on steps, decks and terraces.Prune lightly once flowering has ended, but otherwise leave plants alone. Drought tolerant, once established. Prefers a well-drained site, so avoid heavy clay soils that stay wet in winter.Supplied in approx 1-2 litre containers.
