Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Parrot’ – Mophead Hydrangea

A unqiue mophead Hydrangea new Hydrangea to our range, it is originally bourne out of the cut flower industry thanks to it’s unusual coloured bloomed, and sheer flower power.Forming a compact bush, it generally blooms from  July producing many heads of flowers all over the plant. The plants will thrive equally well in the sun or in a more shaded position. Moreover, they can easily withstand severe frosts and low temperatures in the winter. Parrot will flower on new branches, so can therefore be pruned as required in late winter, without causing any detrimental effects to summers blooming. The plants respond by producing new strong branches, resulting in a wealth of blossoms. The plant will still grow amply without pruning, but the flowers may be smaller.Supplied in approx 5 litre containers.
