Enkianthus campanulatus – Red Vein
Enkianthus shrubs are a very easy to grow and trouble free plant, and do particularly well on acid soils. Producing masses of bell-shaped flowers mid-spring to early summer is one of the attractions, however, in autumn they’ll also surprise you with fiery foliage – they are well worth growing for this alone. Perfect for the back or a mixed border, they are also an ideal choice for a shady spot or woodland garden. This variety of Enkianthus campanulatus really stands our with its pendant, creamy yellow bells, tinted with pink, from late spring to early summer. Supplied in approx 2-3 litre containers.
