Rhododendron (Azalea) Knaphill Persil

A vigorous deciduous shrub that is a brilliant flush of colour in mid spring. White funnel shaped flowers with a deep yellow flush, bloom all over the plants frame making for a show stopping display that announces summer is nearing.Its leaves are oblong and a mid-green colour making for a smart, tidy looking shrub. It will need a spot out of a cold exposed position but will grow in all aspects, it is a lover of acid soils, growing in all substrates except chalk.If planting in open ground, a woodland garden is the perfect setting, plant in a small group for maximum effect. An annual mulch of organic matter in spring will keep your Azalea content.Supplied in approx. 3 litre containers.
